Wayne Riggien commercial and property law

Morgan + English clients are set for commercial and property deal success with Wayne Riggien joining the practice as Special Counsel.

A high-calibre property and commercial lawyer and agribusiness specialist, Wayne’s extensive expertise gives M+E clients even more legal clout for all types of commercial transactions and agribusiness property deals, which are a key area of growth for the boutique firm.

Having spent 18 years at LBK rising to lead the firm’s property, conveyancing, and commercial practice, Wayne has an in-depth understanding of the specialist requirements of agribusiness deals, rural conveyancing, and the complex legal issues that affect regional and primary industry communities.

Wayne has particular expertise in water rights, rural land, and commercial leasing, creating insightful and strategic solutions to even the most challenging transactions. He also specialises in succession planning, as well as business purchases and sales, commercial leases, and contracts.

Annette English, M+E Partner, says: “Wayne’s appointment is fantastic news for our team and our clients as demand is growing for our specialist agribusiness skillset.

“His considerable skills in property and commercial deals round off our breadth of expertise, as a complete legal provider and leader in agribusiness law. Having Wayne on board is a great win for us as we continue to attract the best legal talent for our clients, reinforcing just why we were named the Regional/Suburban Law Firm of the Year 2020.”

Wayne formally starts his new Special Counsel role at M+E on 2 August. To speak with Wayne or any of the M+E team, call us on (02) 9196 8950.
