Arrowfield Stallion Parade

The M + E Team attended the Arrowfield Stud open house day 1 on Friday the 25th of August.
The farm was looking truly stunning, with it’s perfect high hedges, not a leaf out of place, and some very cool equine origami to support the stud’s three new Japanese, champion stallions. Adding an extra two full parades on Friday and Saturday afternoon, it was not one to miss.

After watching the Arrowfield series ‘Studs’, it was like getting to meet celebrities when Susan Archer introduced Animal Kingdom, Dundeel, Maurice, Mikki Isle, Not A Single Doubt, Real Impact, Panzer Division, Redoute’s Choice, Shalaa, Smart Missile, Snitzel and Scissor Kick.

Panza Division following Redoute’s Choice in the parade sequence, displaying the uncanny similarities between father and son, a bargain at only $9, 900.

Living up to his tag line of Australia’s top model stallion, Scissor Kick had the crowd wanting to see more, so that’s what the Arrowfield team did. Out walked two lively, lookalike foals parading with their mothers. A beautiful way to end the parade, viewing what is to come once you have selected a stallion for your mare.

Congratulations to John and Paul Messara, along with the Arrowfield team for putting together an excellent parade.
