The Role
A full-time opportunity exists for a graduate to join our growing legal team.
You can expect to be involved in a broad range of work and to be exposed to a plethora of experiences and professional development opportunities. As a Graduate, you will enjoy the benefits of rotations across practice groups to gain maximum exposure and experience across our firm. You will receive guidance and mentoring to ensure your continued success.
This role will see you working closely with the team’s senior lawyers and assisting with:
- Preparing transactional and commercial documentation;
- Preparing, assessing and reviewing commercial contracts and agreements;
- Legal research;
- Compilation of case files, and reports;
- Offer general support to Partners, Associates, and Lawyers;
- Conducting public register searches and enquiries;
- Submitting applications and lodging documents;
- Drafting and lodging of court documents and material and
- Assisting with litigation in Federal and Supreme Courts including preparing advice and correspondence.
Qualifications, Experience, Key Skills & Attributes
The successful applicant:
- Has completed a Bachelor of Law Degree or equivalent and admitted as a solicitor or is completing their college of law and to be admitted as a solicitor;
- Has achieved strong academic results in university studies;
- Is interested in the different areas of law practiced by the firm;
- Possesses high attention to detail, tenacity and diligence, and strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills;
- Be able to manage and organise time and workload and prioritise multiple tasks;
- Be able to work autonomously as well as collaboratively;
- Confident with computer skills and demonstrated Microsoft Office Suite skills;
- Is engaged and familiar with technology. We are a paperless firm and rely heavily on technology in our day-to-day processes;
