With the escalation of the COVID-19 pandemic globally Morgan + English Commercial Lawyers, (M+E) in line with Government recommendations, have  made the decision to close our Scone + Sydney  offices to enable staff to work remotely, until further notice, effective Monday 30 March 2020.

What does this mean for you and for your work?

We have implemented new internal and external protocols and policies to ensure that our staff are able to continue to provide you with the best quality service we can without interruption during this time, while keeping the health and safety of our clients, staff and communities a priority.  However, there are some necessary changes in how we will communicate during this period.

Making contact

  • We are still working normal office hours  9am – 5pm.  Everyone working remotely will still be working their normal working hours if they are full-time or part-time.  However, our telephone reception is now being transferred through virtual reception.
  • You can still contact anyone you need to speak with at M+E using the same phone number (02) 9196 8950, or the solicitor’s email addresses.  All phone calls to the main office number will be answered by a Virtual Receptionist and messages will then be emailed to the appropriate staff member.  If you could please provide your name, telephone number and the matter it relates to that would greatly assist in someone responding to you as soon as possible.
  • Alternatively, Daniel Morgan (0412 425 568)  and Annette English (0421 640 547) are available directly on their mobiles.
  • If we need to meet with you we will arrange for the client meeting to be held virtually, either by phone or video conferencing.

Some of this change will take some time to adapt to – we ask that you remain patient with us whilst we do this transition.  We have worked hard over the past couple of weeks to establish the internal protocols to ensure we have effective internal communications. If you have any problems please let Daniel or Annette know so that it can be rectified immediately.

We now have team members working in Brisbane, Dubbo, Griffith, Scone, Ellerston, Belltrees, Baerami, Moss Vale and in Sydney – Newtown, Leichhardt, Balmain, Marrickville, Cremorne, and Cammeray.

Keep safe – we are here to help you as much as we can through the next few months.  We will of course, keep you updated regularly with any changes.

Stay safe, stay healthy.
